GOD EXPECTS YOU TO WIN

The extent to which we ALLOW satan to have access into our minds and to control our thoughts is the degree he has control over us. If we become fearful, confused, worried or depressed, it is because we chose to. It is only when we fail to use our wills to resist the thoughts satan tries to plant in our minds, that he gains access and has control over our thoughts. You can help yourself! God has made it possible for you to have a victorious mind, but you must be willing to take aggressive action. Recognize satan's attack on your mind...resist the thoughts he tries to plant in your mind, take authority over them and cast them out in the Name of Jesus.
11 TIMOTHY 1:7
7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
The Greek word for "sound" means a calling to a soundness of mind or to self-control. It literally means discipline. To have a well-disciplined, victorious mind, we must:
Take aggressive action against satan's attacks on our minds; recognize, resist and cast out thoughts he tries to plant into out hearts and minds.
Continually bring every thought into captivity.
Continually be renewed in our minds by 'putting off' the old carnal nature with its carnal mind and bringing our thoughts, wills, desires, attitudes into control of the Holy Spirit and conformity to the will of God.
Fill our hearts and minds with God's Word and a knowledge of Christ
And have a prayer life. YOU MUST PRAY!
SATAN'S OBJECTIVE IS TO WEAR YOU DOWN IN YOUR MIND!
Satan's objective in attacking us in our minds...in our innermost beings...is to wear us down, until we become spiritually weary and 'faint' in our minds. He knows that if our minds are weak, we will be weak, and he will be able to gain access to our minds and defeat us.
Becoming 'spiritually weary' is one of the most dangerous positions you can be in. I am warning you now, so that you will not fall into satan's trap. Satan is intensifying his attacks on the Church. He is going to try to literally wear you out. And unless you are aware of what is happening and prepare yourself for the battle, you will not be able to stand. You will live in a cycle of defeat.
Satan will attack you through your circumstances, so that you will become caught in a cycle of defeat. In this cycle, he will bombard your mind with fear, worry and doubt until you become spiritually weary. At this point, if you 'faint' in your mind, you will become discouraged, lose hope, resign yourself to accept your circumstances. Your discouragement will lead to depression, where you will be spiritually immobilized, and you will be caught in this vicious cycle of defeat.
HEBREWS 12:1-3
1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.
The Greek word for 'faint' means 'to unloose; to relax and so, to make weak'. Satan wants to weaken you, He wants you to become so overwhelmed by your circumstances, so weary fighting the battles you have day after day in fulfilling the ministry God has given you, that you faint...relax in your mind. He wants your mind to be spiritually tired and weak, so you will:
Let up on your intensified prayer time
Cut down on the time you read and study the Word Stop resisting his attacks Stop taking control of your thoughts Stop casting out doubt and unbelief Stop releasing your faith Stop walking in LOVE
You may be at this dangerous point right now, where you are spiritually weary and you have 'fainted' in your mind. You may be so tired of the spiritual battles that you are ready to give up. You may be tired of resisting a temptation. Your mind may be in constant turmoil...you may be at a point of depression, or severely oppressed by the enemy. WHATEVER strategy satan may be using to attack your mind, DON'T GIVE IN! God has made it possible for you to live in victory over ALL the power of the enemy. The moment you 'faint in your mind' and stop resisting his attacks, you are surrendering yourself into his hands. You are defeated only when you fail to fight.
IT'S TIME TO PREPARE YOUR MIND FOR AGGRESSIVE ACTION!
PROVERBS 23:7
7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:
- If our hearts and minds are strong and disciplined...
- If we know God's Word...
- If we have a clear understanding of His will...
- If our minds and wills are set to obey and do His will...
- If our thoughts are constantly being brought into obedience to Christ...
We will be strong and immovable even during the greatest trial, temptation or attack of the enemy!
However, if our hearts and minds are weak...
Judges 7:2-3
2 And the LORD said unto Gideon, The people that are with thee are too many for me to give the Midianites into their hands, lest Israel vaunt themselves against me, saying, Mine own hand hath saved me.
3 Now therefore go to, proclaim in the ears of the people, saying, Whosoever is fearful and afraid, let him return and depart early from mount Gilead. And there returned of the people twenty and two thousand; and there remained ten thousand.
If you are afraid and fearful, you are not ready for battle. But guess what! Satan doesn't care if you are ready or not. He doesn't hold back his attacks. THIS IS A WARNING! GET READY FOR BATTLE! The WAR has already started. You are already in a battle, like it or not. DO YOU WANT TO WIN? Then you MUST strengthen your mind for battle!
