She is being used to teach & exhort the body of Christ to PRAY. She became a born again believer at age 5 & by the age of 8 she was filled with the Holy Spirit. Shirley’s public ministry began when she was called to teach an Adult Sunday School Class in an Assembly of God Church. She continued in this position for 10 years. The call of the Lord was so strong upon Shirley’s life; she was led to enroll in Bible School and later was ordained as a Minister of the Gospel. In May 1992, Shirley was privileged to travel to Seoul, Korea. In a memorable meeting with Dr. Paul (David) Cho, Dr. Cho prayed over Shirley and said she would travel back to her country and teach the body of Christ to PRAY. It was later in 1992 that Shirley received the vision of her personal prayer journal that is touching the lives of many and even reaching into the prisons of America. Shirley has allowed the Lord to use her in teaching and ministering the Word to various churches, ladies groups, retreats, home cell Bible studies, etc. In 1992 God supernaturally opened the door for her to minister in Nigeria, Africa. She believes, teaches and preaches the uncompromised Word of God with signs following! Her philosophy is: "Get the Word in you and it will give you the strength and power to defeat satan at all adversities he may throw your way and that salvation is only the beginning of what God has in store for the believer."
